However, Fundación Aleatica also decided to join the call for the Second Decade for Road Safety of the United Nations. This program aims to reduce fatalities and injuries caused by road events or traffic accidents by 50%. Strategic Alliances for greater impact In search of a path towards safer and more conscious mobility, Fundación Aleatica has shown that the power of strategic alliances should not be underestimated. Because such alliances not only provide resources and expertise, but also open doors to strategic opportunities to address road safety from multiple perspectives. Road safety is a complex challenge that requires the contribution of multiple stakeholders, and consequently these strategic alliances underscore the importance of working together to achieve meaningful change. An Award to recognize CSOs responsible for Security In an effort to foster innovation and commitment in the field of road safety, Fundación Aleatica has launched an award that highlights the crucial role of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the development and implementation of impactful practices and models in this field. This initiative, which seeks to recognize and reward CSOs for their outstanding work, has marked a significant milestone in Fundación Aleatica's commitment to road safety. The award, known as the “We Are All Road Safety Award”, has become a platform to highlight and promote the commitment of CSOs in promoting road safety. The jury in charge of selecting the winners of this award included prominent figures in the field of road safety, along with other experts and leaders in the field. In this edition of the award, three recognitions were awarded, each of them accompanied by a cash prize of 500 thousand pesos. The Future: Expanding Programs throughout Latin America As Bosco Martí explains to us, Fundación Aleatica's future objectives focus on the expansion of its security programs in Latin American countries in which they operate, such as Peru, Chile and Colombia.
